What is a DIAPER CAKE?
A diaper cake is a clever, one-of-a-kind and totally practical baby gift that is not only impressive but also perfect for every new or expectant parents. It is a tower made out of individually wrapped disposable diapers arranged to look like a real cake!
DIAPER CAKES can be made into one-tier, two-tier, three-tier or four-tier cakes.
Together with the tower of diapers, goodies are either hidden inside or attached on the outside to make the cake look even more beautiful! DIAPER CAKES make practical and thoughtful gifts, and are such a joy to receive because of the essential baby items and goodies that come with it.
What type of goodies do you use in your DIAPER CAKES?
Oh, these may range from practical and useful baby items such as baby bottles, baby clothes, baby bath products and baby bibs to baby toys such as rattles, cloth books and bath toys! The choice is limitless!
All items used in our DIAPER CAKES are baby-safe and baby-friendly. They are bought only from trusted and reputable baby supplies stores and are of favorite and reliable namebrands, such as Johnson & Johnson and Munchkin.

What is a DIAPER SAMPLER?
DIAPER SAMPLERS are diaper cakes constructed using three leading diaper brands - Pampers, Huggies and Drypers - allowing the new mommy to sample all three brands of diapers and choose the most suitable brand for her precious newborn! Each diaper is clearly marked with its brand name, so mommy will be able to tell the difference between the three diaper brands.
On top of that, the DIAPER SAMPLER will also contain useful and basic baby necessities to help the new mom welcome her baby, from bathing to feeding needs! This is something we are sure new moms will LOVE as it saves her valuable time and money!
What kind of diapers do you use for your DIAPER CAKES?
Our DIAPER CAKES are constructed using only trusted and reliable diaper brands such as Pampers, Mamy Poko and Huggies in Size S, which can fit babies up to 15 lbs. We prefer not to use newborn-sized diapers as some babies may outgrow these diapers quickly, while some babies may be born a little too big for them.
Using Size S diapers ensures that a baby will still be able to fit into the diapers, if not immediately after birth, then eventually when he or she grows a little bigger. It also gives the new parents the option of enjoying the DIAPER CAKE a little longer before they take it apart for use.
However, if you would still prefer to have your DIAPER CAKE constructed using newborn-sized diapers so that the new parents may enjoy your gift immediately, just let us know and we would be more than happy to accommodate!
Will my choice of diapers affect my DIAPER CAKE's appearance?
In terms of size, yes. Some diapers are slimmer and thinner, and may result in your diaper cake looking "smaller" and not as compact as other diaper brands.
Are the diapers glued together?
Of course not! The diapers in our DIAPER CAKES are assembled without being glued to each other. Our DIAPER CAKES are also constructed such that no items are glued or taped on to the diapers, to ensure that no harmful materials come in contact with them. Still, our DIAPER CAKES are securely constructed and they are guaranteed not to fall apart with normal handling. At the same time, they are also designed to be easily disassembled and ready for use.
Some decorations, however, may be stuck on using tape or glue, but be assured that they are not permanently attached to the diapers or any of the baby items, but rather the ribbons surrounding each tier of diapers.
Can I request for my DIAPER CAKE to be customized?
You certainly can! Just SMS or email us and we will let you know if the DIAPER CAKE you envision is possible.
We are able to customize according to color, theme, animals, characters and more. However, do keep in mind that customized orders will cost more if we do not have some items for a particular theme in stock, and may take a little longer to construct. Of course, we will be liasing very closely with you in customizing your DIAPER CAKE so you will be well-informed of the developments of your custom DIAPER CAKE!
Are your DIAPER CAKES pre-made?
Oh, most definitely not! All of stubbornsnails' DIAPER CAKES are made ONLY when you place your order, and is handmade with extra love and care, so you can be assured that your choice of DIAPER CAKE will not only be original, FRESH and brand-new, but personal as well.
And because each DIAPER CAKE is an original and some items may be subjected to availability, your chosen DIAPER CAKE may vary slightly. But be assured that our DIAPER CAKES are of consistent quality, and if we must make a substitution, it will be of equal or greater value!
How are your DIAPER CAKES constructed?
All of stubbornsnails DIAPER CAKES are put together under the strictest hygiene conditions and in a pet-free and smoke-free environment. In addition, your DIAPER CAKE will be wrapped with tulle prior to delivery for added hygiene measures. You can trust that no hygiene conditions were compromised, be it at the stubbornsnails workshop or during delivery.
stubbornsnails also take great care and effort in handselecting matching fabrics, decorations and items to suit each color or theme, making sure your DIAPER CAKE will be a gift everyone will be talking about!
Will the DIAPER CAKE be identical to the one in the photo?
Each and every DIAPER CAKE we create and put together is an original and individual creation, so we cannot guarantee that we can duplicate the DIAPER CAKE in the photo identically, but your chosen DIAPER CAKE will be as close as possible to the photo you have ordered from.
And because your DIAPER CAKE is constructed only when you place your order with us, some items may be subjected to availability, but we will replace the items with another of equal, if not higher value, and we will always stay within the overall theme of the DIAPER CAKE you choose. We are sure you will appreciate this because it lets you know that your chosen DIAPER CAKE is not mass produced, but rather a unique work of art!
How long will it take for my DIAPER CAKE to arrive?
We know how excited you are to receive your DIAPER CAKE, so all we ask for is a period of THREE DAYS (after payment is made and cleared) for a DIAPER CAKE to be constructed and be ready for delivery!
However, if we do have more orders than we can cope with, we will require up to five days to create each DIAPER CAKE, but not to worry, we will certainly communicate this to you when you place your order with us!
What if I need my DIAPER CAKE urgently?
At stubbornsnails, we also understand that sometimes events come to knowledge at such short notice, and we can most certainly emphatise with the franticness of needing the perfect gift urgently!
With this in mind, we will, from time to time, have some ready-made diapers that will be available from our StubbornSnails Shop.
How do I collect my DIAPER CAKE?

At stubbornsnails, we value our customers and understand the importance of value-added service to our valuable customers, so you will be pleased to know that we offer delivery at a small fee of only $10 to anywhere in Singapore!
We also have a dedicated team who will ensure your gift will be delivered quickly and safely, whether to your doorstep or to your friend or family member. All our gift items are securely constructed, so you can be sure that your gift will arrive looking just as nice as it did when it left the stubbornsnails workshop!
Can you deliver directly to the recipient?
Certainly! When you place your order via our online order form, just supply us with the name and address of the intended recipients and the date and time you would like us to deliver the gift.
Also, all our DIAPER CAKES come with a gift card, so you can include a message for this gift card on the order form as well!
What if I want the gift delivered to a hospital ward?
That can be arranged as well! In the online order form, just indicate your request in the "Special Requests" field - with the correct hospital, ward and bed details - and we'll take it from there!
Can my DIAPER CAKE be gift-wrapped?
Definitely! All our DIAPER CAKES are gift-wrapped in tulle with a coordinating bow, when requested! Tulle-wrapping is available at $6 for one tier cakes, $9 for two-tier cakes, $12 for three-tier cakes and $15 for four-tier cakes.
What is a Diaper Duck Travel Buddy Dispenser?
A Diaper Duck Travel Buddy dispenser is an adorable diaper bag dispenser to make disposing off of your baby's soiled diapers handy! It fits in your diaper bag, your car or even your baby stroller when you're on the go. It's compact with easy-tear bags that are scented with fresh baby powder. It comes with 24 diaper bags, and another roll of 24 refills. Just use and toss!
How do I find out the status of my order?
You will receive a confirmation order from us once you have submitted the online order form, detailing your order details, payment instructions and expected ready date for your gift item.
Once your gift item is ready for delivery, you will receive another email from us to inform you that your item is ready and will be delivered soon. If you have requested for the gift item to be delivered directly to your recipient, this second email will include a photo of the finished gift item so you will know how your chosen gift item looks!
However, at any time, you can still send us an email at shop@stubbornsnails.com or call us at 9.271.3348 and enquire on the status of your order.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payments by bank transfers, local cheques and also via the secured website - PayPal.
If you have selected bank transfer as your payment mode, we will send the bank transfer details (to a DBS Savings Plus Account) to the email address provided.
For cheque payments, please allow two working days for cheques to be cleared before your order is constructed. Once payment is approved and your order is ready for construction, we will send you a notification via email or sms.
For payments via PayPal, we will send you a PayPal Invoice via email, with all the necessary details and further payment instructions.
Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted?
If payment has not been made, or your order has not be created, you can request for your order to be cancelled via phone at 9.271.3348. Please do not send us a cancellation request via email as we may not receive it in time.
If payment has already been made, BUT your order has not been created, you may still request to have your order cancelled, via telephone. There will, however, be a 20% penalty off the budget specified.
We regret to inform that once your order has been created and is ready for delivery, we will not be able to cancel your order for you.
As a guide, we would advise that you give us a notice of at least 12 hours if payment has already been made.
What is your return / refund / exchange policy?
Our gift items are handmade from scratch only when an order is placed, and are thus fresh and brand new, and with no defects. Great care is also taken during delivery to ensure that the gift item remains secure and is not damaged. Therefore, any returns, refunds or exchanges are allowed only for defective or damaged items on the part of stubbornsnails.
Defective or damaged items are defined as any item that fell apart or are ruined during delivery and arrives at your doorstep in an unsatisfactory condition.
No returns / refunds / exchanges will be given on urgent orders that require lesser time than our normal construction time, unless it is defective or damaged on the part of stubbornsnails.
The diaper cake must be returned, exchanged or refunded as a whole. No part of the diaper cake, or individual item found in the diaper cake may be exchanged or refunded, unless found to be damaged or defective due to an error on the part of stubbornsnails.
If you wish to return your diaper cake, you will need to contact us within one day of receiving the diaper cake. The diaper cake or defective / damaged item must be returned in its original and unopened packaging to guarantee a return. Items must be in its new, unused, unwashed and unopened condition. If items are found to be used, damaged or defective at no error on our part, you will not be entitled to a refund.
If an exchange is required, you will need to contact us within one day of receiving the diaper cake as well. You are only able to exchange a diaper cake to one of equal or higher value, and will be required to make the payment for the difference in value (if any) before you will receive their new diaper cake. The diaper cake must be returned in its original and unopened packaging to guarantee an exchange. Damaged / defective items must be in its new, unused, unwashed and unopened condition. If items are found to be used, defective or damaged at no error on our part, exchanges will not be allowed.
stubbornsnails reserve the right to refuse any returns, refunds or exchanges on any of our cakes and gift items.
How will you deliver my order?
We have a dedicated team who will ensure your gift will be delivered quickly and safely, whether to your doorstep or to your friend or family member. All our gift items are securely constructed, so you can be sure that your gift will arrive looking just as nice as it did when it left the stubbornsnails workshop!
Your gift items will be delivered at the requested time specified in the order form. If no specific time is given, gift items will be delivered by 9pm on the day of delivery.
What if I am not home or my recipient isn't available when the delivery arrives?
Two attempts will be made to deliver your gift item, failing which a small fee of $25 will be levied for delivery on the subsequent third attempt.
We would most certainly appreciate if you could inform us of any need to change the delivery date and time via telephone.
I want to send my order as a gift. How do I do this?
When you submit your order via our online order form, you will have the opportunity to indicate the delivery address for the gift item. You may also include a message on the gift card that comes along with all our gift items.
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! To date, we have shipped our cakes to the United States, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia.
Shipping charges will have to be borne by the customer, and this includes the cardboard box required to package the diaper cake, supplied by the post office.
Shipping rates will depend greatly on the weight of the diaper cake, and therefore we would advise customers to keep their choices to either a one or two tier cake.
We ship our diaper cakes using standard shipping services, which will take no more than 10 business days for the diaper cake to arrive at its intended destination.
As proof that stubbornsnails do not profit from shipping charges, we will provide customers with original copies of the shipping invoices.
What happens to information I submit in the order forms?
You can trust and be assured that all details submitted will be kept confidential. We do not sell names, address, contact numbers or any other information you give us. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
